Welcome to Harpley

Latest News
Site Updated: 11th January 2026

Despite the cold and icy conditions many people ventured out to support January's Coffee Morning. As usual a great variety of cakes and warm sausage rolls were available. In particular the Bara Brith proved to be popular especially with butter.
The next Coffee Morning will be on the 14th February so why not get Valentine's Day off to a great start.

Our next Quiz Night is on 6th February with admission at £2.50 per person. Either enter as a team of up to six or just buy a ticket and join a team on the night. Tickets are now available from committee members.

A notable coffee morning last year Harpley History Club presented their Timeline which stretched the entire length of the hall covering from prehistoric times to the current day. Elements of this work continue to be on display in the village hall.

Running of the Hall

Harpley village hall is fully self-funded and a registered charity (No. 1042319). The intention of the committee is to provide regular activities for the community to meet as well as to support individual community needs. The hall has significant challenges due to its age which limit significant improvements due to the building design and construction. At some point in the near future there will need to be significant refurbishment or rebuilding if the hall is to continue to provide a resource for the community.
